Openlev Coworking is hosting a very special coworking day in a sukkah with Jewish educator, ritualist, activist, healer, and poet Sarah Chandler. Suggested donation for coworking is $18.
On Wednesday, October 9, head to Bushwick, Brooklyn for a day of intentional coworking in a sukkah in collaboration with Sarah Chandler in preparation for Sukkot.
Sukkot, the Jewish harvest festival, takes place this year from October 13–20, 2025. The holiday centers on the sukkah—a temporary, open-roofed structure built from natural materials. Traditionally, it recalls the fragile shelters of the Israelites in the desert and celebrates the harvest season. Spiritually, the sukkah is a reminder of life’s impermanence and the shelter we find in nature and in community. Working in a sukkah allows us to bring these Jewish ancestral teachings into our daily rhythms—rooting ordinary tasks in gratitude, presence, and connection with the world around us.
