SUMMARY:Ecstatic Yom Kippur in the Catskills
DESCRIPTION:On this most auspicious of days\, the Jewish lineage invites
  us to look closely at the ways our small\, fragile ego pulls us into cy
 cles of fear and shame\, self-protection and heart-hardening. Yom Kippur
  calls us behind the veil into the inner sanctum\, the Holy of Holies in
  our hearts\, to rediscover the Beloved Source of All\, which dwells wit
 hin us and between us: infinite and ever-present\, fearless and compassi
 onate\, no-thing and every-thing.\n\nIt was with Yom Kippur one year ago
  that we - Jessica Caplan and Binny Kagedan - first embarked on this sac
 red adventure of song and spirit and community. And so it's an honor to 
 invite you to join us again this year to chant\, listen\, reflect\, shar
 e\, release\, renew\, and celebrate the coming year.\n\nThrough devotion
 al Hebrew and English chant\, silent contemplation\, sacred sound\, visu
 al journeying\, free movement\, and interpersonal sharing\, we will supp
 ort each other in abiding in our hearts on this holy day\, and bringing 
 the gifts of that encounter with us into a fresh new year. Our beloved R
 ebecca Stone will also guide us in a Family Constellations experience as
  part of the day’s ritual.\n\nThis is a non-traditional Jewish gatheri
 ng\, and ALL are truly welcome.\n\nFinancial exchange: $35 per adult or 
 whatever you can contribute. No one turned away for lack of funds.\n\nKi
 ds welcome for free\, childcare for ages 3 and up will be available (ple
 ase let us know ahead of time if you'd like to be included\, cost of bab
